Friday 16 December 2022 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, it will be held at the headquarters of Openet Technologies SpA, “SPARKme Space Academy”, Via dell'Industria in Matera, the event ‘Space Opportunities 4 Next Generations’, reserved for students, as part of National Space Day.

‘Space Opportunities 4 Next Generations’ is the event, organized by CLAS, the Lucanian Aerospace Cluster, and Openet Technologies SpA, for the National Space Day, during which students will have the exceptional opportunity to see Expedition, the first documentary dedicated to a space mission – produced by the Openet group in collaboration with ESA and ASI – and interact with astronauts Paolo Nespoli and Slawosz Uznanski live directly from CERN in Geneva.

The day will end with a visit to the SPARKkme Space Academy.

Established by the Government in 2021, the National Space Day aims to raise awareness and inform Italian citizens about the contributions that science and technology applied to space bring to the improvement of the human condition and to make them understand the benefits that space activities bring to everyday life, in terms of growth, well-being, image and role of the country on a global level.
