Bioeconomy Day 2025: A resounding success for the Lucanian Bioeconomy Cluster at the Sparkme Space Academy in Matera.

Great participation for the seventh edition of the Bioeconomy Day in Basilicata, which took place this year at the Sparkme Space Academy di Matera, confirming itself as a reference event to discuss Innovation, Sustainability and business. Promoted at national level by the SPRING Cluster and Assobiotec-Federchimica, and carried out in Basilicata thanks to the Lucanian Bioeconomy Cluster, the event brought together institutions, experts and companies in a day full of speeches and testimonies on the issues of ecological transition and the enhancement of biological resources. At the centre of the discussion, the strategic role of the bioeconomy for the sustainable development of the territory. Among the most significant speeches were those of Councillor Laura Mongiello, representatives of ENEA, ITS Basilicata and CROB, who highlighted how innovation, training and cooperation are key elements for a circular economic model. To close the event, the President of the CLB, Domenico Lazazzera relaunched the ambition to make Basilicata a national bioeconomic ecosystem. With this in mind, the 2026 edition promises to be even richer in projects and collaborations.
